Born in California, Scout Turkel is a poet and writer. Scout holds a degree in rhetoric from the University of California, Berkeley, an MFA in poetry from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Chicago.

Scout’s first book, Solitude & Society, is forthcoming from Nightboat Books.
